Friday Thoughts from Pastor Tim - November 1

Dear Church Family –

Voting is a special privilege God has given us in America that many in other countries don’t have.  But I can understand if you don’t like either presidential candidate this year.

There are, however, other reasons to vote, and other reasons why I encourage you to vote.

Judges that will be appointed

Border Security

Israel and Taiwan

Religious Liberty and Freedom of Speech

Family

Life in the womb

Women’s Sports

Voting is one small way we can be salt and light in our nation.  But before you vote, while you vote, and after you vote…please pray. - “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Pray, and be an example. “…in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” (1 Timothy 4:12)

Pray, be an example, and be part of the solution - “Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.” (2 Timothy 2:22)

“We do not sufficiently realize the power we have to infect the places in which we live and work by our prevailing habits in those places.” – Oswald Chambers

This Sunday, we’ll have a special time of prayer for persecuted believers around the world, and we’ll be looking at the life of Joseph and when doing right goes wrong.  Remember to set your clocks back an hour Saturday night and we’ll see you Sunday!

In the last 24 hours Trump your man has done this. Disgusting. I don't see how any of you can vote for this as President.https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uLkxPF-sfAg And I will go further. Mace is endorsing from the pulpit. Plain and simple. So ashamed of this behaviour from the Evangelicals.
