Dear Church Family –
Yesterday in church we talked about some deep issues of the soul—fear, guilt, unforgiveness. These things easily cripple us but are not easily conquered.
Our guilt required the blood of Jesus to cover it.
Our fear requires our answer of faith.
Our unforgiveness requires both a choice and a process.
A few years ago, a church member gave me a quote from John Piper that I have come to treasure.
“Occasionally, weep deeply over the life that you hoped would be. Grieve the losses. Feel the pain. Then wash your face, trust God, and embrace the life that he’s given you.”
I’m praying for you today—praying that the truth of 1 Peter 5:10 will be a felt reality for you.
“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”
